The Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK, Industrie- und Handelskammer) and the General Association of Employers (AAV, Allgemeiner Arbeitgeberverband) Eupen-Malmedy-St. Vith are organized in a common secretariat within East Belgium.

IHK = Organisation of businesses for businesses

We are consultants and information providers to companies in East Belgium on economic issues. We support and encourage the local economies and information exchange between entrepreneurs as well as representing the economic interests of regional businesses in institutions and committees both within and without our geographical jurisdiction.

AAV = Represents employers interests and provides services

We are consultants and information providers to East-Belgian employers in all matters pertaining to employment law and issues of social rights and obligations. We encourage information exchange between local employers and represent their interests in bilateral committees and commissions. We make available service structures designed to advance interests and support exchange between employers.
